Bill and I registered for The Other Half today. It's a half marathon being held on October 19 in Moab, Utah. This is a race that some folks at Jen's work have run in the past. I'm not sure if they're doing it again this year, but I thought it looked fun so I went ahead and signed up.
It's about a 450 mile drive from Phoenix up to Moab:

We anticipate driving up to Flagstaff on Friday and stopping for the night, and then driving the rest of the way on Saturday morning.
The race course looks absolutely stunning:
