I did a 6 mile run along the canal in Scottsdale this morning. Trudy was feeling up for a run, so I ran with her. We met behind Scottsdale Running Company at 7:00AM, and set out after a bit of stretching. I could tell right away that I was going to feel good. I wasn't having any aches or pains, and I felt like I could've picked up the pace a little. Sometimes it's nice to rein it in a little though. The 3 mile point is right at Scottsdale Rd. We stopped for a few seconds so Trudy could rest the stitch in her side and catch her breath. She said that she wanted to run another 2 miles and walk the last mile. About a mile into the second leg, she started complaining about a blister on her toe. I urged her to keep going, and she managed to run all the way back to the starting point. On the way home, I got a txt from her that said, "Not to be gross, but when I got home and took my shoe off, it was filled with blood." Oh no! I broke Trudy! Activity
